What Happens When You REALLY care?

By far the most valuable thing to have in life is someone who deeply cares about you. Even if it’s challenging – which most relationships are – the potential is there to experience a deeply loving friendship and receive the support and care of another soul who will appreciate you and value who you are. There is nothing more precious than this.

So if you are in a relationship with someone who cares about you, don’t take it for granted. You are very blessed, even though it may be challenging at times.

The purpose of relationship is to discover the unconditional love within yourself, and for this to happen we have to be faced with charachteristcs in others that we don’t like. Because by loving and accepting that part in others, we are loving and accepting it within ourselves. Loving and forgiving others is just loving and forgiving your self, because we are all cells in the same organism.

But if you are alone, and wishing to be in companionship, here is what you need to do…

Firstly realise that the person who is destined for you may already be in your life. You just may have ruled them out for some reason, or you may not have taken the time to get to know them.Perhaps you judged them by their appearance or by what you heard about them, and decided not to make the effort to find out who they really are.

So make a concerted effort to get to know all the people in your life better. Strengthen friendships, create new ones by learning more about the people you encounter. Human connections make us stronger. We feel more connected and supported, and less alone.

Make the effort to get to know people, consistently and genuinely, and you will be rewarded. Make an effort to show people that they are important to you, even if they are different to the kind of people you usually hang out with. Give everyone a chance, no matter how they appear, how they dress or how they speak… Get to know the soul inside, and you may be blown away by the most unlikely person.

The treasures we seek are not always found where we think we will find them. Often they are in very unexpected places.

So get to know people, learn about them, and be a friend that cares. Share with them the good qualities of your character, and be honest about your weakness and vulnerabilities. We all have them, and they are an important part of what connects us all. Don’t pretend to be without flaws or weaknesses. They will help people connect and relate to you.

Value every human being you encounter and take the time to get to know people more. Show them that they matter to you and aim to love and appreciate them exactly as they are.

You may not always succeed, but at least you are trying to succeed. And in the process you will enjoy some truly beautiful friendships, perhaps even with the most unlikely people…

Life is an adventure when you share the beautiful things that exist inside your heart.
