Oh, the secret pain of humanity, carried around behind starched faces and within clenched hearts. I can feel it. It brings me to tears. Such deep nobility and beauty that exists within us all, oppressed and trapped behind walls of fear. We dare not look up, lest we see the angry face that reminds us of our our father or our mother. Where is the love in the eyes that we seek, that we long to see? Who will show it to us in a world of isolation and insecurity? Who is courageous enough to let their heart shine through, to let their deep empathy to bring tears to their eyes, in the face of a lost soul? It must be you. This is what you are called to do. Face your pain and know that you will be a saviour for someone, or for many when they see the understanding in your eyes. You have the love in your heart. Let it rise to the surface, so that it can be seen and felt by those around you. Let them know of Love’s salvation from the darkness. Let them feel the warmth of the rising sun within their own heart, as you remind them that hope springs eternal. God is Love. Salvation is Love. You are a vessel, built for Love. You are a life raft of hope, of total faith in Love’s healing and redemptive force. Don’t waste another moment in doubt or uncertainty. Be there for somebody, and let your heart grow strong as it bears the burden of another’s pain, transforming it in compassion and empathy. Feel what others feel. Know the sorrow in their heart, and be the light in their darkness. The world is waiting for you…
