Imagine there are two rooms, and in each room is playing different music.

One room is small and grey, and the music playing there is repetitive and uninspiring. The other room is very spacious, deeply beautiful and full of glorious colours. The music playing there is the most beautiful and inspiring music you have ever heard, and it transports you into a heavenly state when you listen to it.

But in the grey room you cannot hear this music and you are not aware of the beauty. You can quite easily believe that no other room even exists, and so it becomes natural to just accept life in the grey room and get comfortable with the experience it offers, even though it is uninspiring and devoid of joy.

So you need to leave that room if you want to find what your heart is deeply longing for: freedom, inspiration, joy, peace, fulfilment. You may not be aware of this longing, but it exists in every human heart.

And the truth is that there are not two rooms. There is just a small grey room situated in the middle of the most beautiful and colourful landscape you can possibly imagine, with glorious birdsong echoing through the trees and across the hills. A beautiful river winds its way peacefully through the land, and you are surrounded by fruit trees containing the most delicious and nourishing fruits you have ever seen. This is the landscape of your heart, and everything you need is here.

And the best news of all is that you are not alone. There are others here who have been eagerly awaiting you… waiting for the day that you would choose to look outside of your little grey room. They are full of love and kindness, and they care deeply about you. They are here to show you around, help you to adjust to your new reality, and reassure you when you feel afraid, uncertain or insecure about this new environment.

They are your soul family and you feel completely at home with them. They are here to remind you of the joy of this new reality, and how that joy is who you really are – your true personality. They will not let you forget this, and they want you to stay here with them in this loving and luminous environment, which is truly where you belong.

Please friend, do not go back into that small grey room of isolation and illusion. Your freedom and joy are like golden sunshine that makes this place even brighter and even more beautiful for everyone. Let it shine out from your heart so that it can enrich us all.
